West Jakarta Continues to Educate COVID Vaccination to Elderlies

The West Jakarta administration continues to intensify education and socialization about COVID-19 vaccination to the public. One of them is through Gerebek Vaksin in three locations spread over Cengkareng Sub-district. It is targeted to reach all elderlies in Jakarta by the end of this March.

To succeed it, we have involved army/police, RT/RW caretakers and public figures

West Jakarta Mayor Uus Kuswanto disclosed the Gerebek Vaksin was held at SDN 03 Pagi Kedaung Kali Angke, SDN 08 Pagi Kedaung Kali Angke, and SDN 09 Petang Kedaung Kali Angke.  

"To succeed it, we have involved army/police, RT/RW caretakers and public figures," he expressed, Thursday (3/18).

His party had set the location of vaccination in each sub-district and had cooperated with private hospitals as an effort to speed up the COVID-19 vaccination.

He assured that the COVID-19 vaccination was in accordance with the procedure.

"We also urge officers in sub-districts and urban villages to collaborate in massively picking up scheduled elderly people to vaccinate according to schedule," he said.

Thus far, he added, the vaccination for the elderly had hit 25 percent of the target set at around 192,000 people. Hopefully, it could run smoothly and could achieve the target as expected.
